Membership Benefits

From a financial perspective, one of the most attractive benefits of membership of the Royal Queensland Aero Club is the substantial discount given to members on aircraft hire rates. This discount covers all hire of aircraft and simulator, whether for private hire or training purposes.

However, from a social perspective, membership of RQAC offers a wonderful social opportunity with an aviation theme.

The Club runs regular activities which promote camaraderie amongst our pilots. These activities range from the scheduled monthly barbeques, to flying competitions, guided fly aways, flying seminars and Dawn Patrols. RQAC is well known for its Formation Flying team, and new members are always welcome to participate in this exciting activity.

Twice yearly the Club hosts a Wings Dinner where we celebrate the flying achievements of our students and staff in the preceding 6 months.

Members receive regular monthly emails detailing the activities around the Club in the last month, and the scheduled activities for the month ahead.
