Angel Flight Thanks Club Member Michael Soloman for his Service

Angel Flight would like to send a big THANK YOU to pilot and RQAC Member Michael Soloman who is hanging up his wings after more than 12 years of flying Angel Flight missions.

Michael has completed 104 missions and helped 104 families to get the medical help they couldn’t get in their home towns. Michael’s first flight was on 14th January 2006 Archerfield to Chinchilla and his last flight was on 27th February 2018 Archerfield to St George.

Michael received on OAM in the June 2018 Queens Birthday Honours for not only his contribution to Angel Flight but also for the many other community organisations he is involved in.

All of us here at Angel Flight greatly appreciate all that Michael has done for us over the years and he has been a highly valued member of our team. Michael will remain friends with Angel Flight and will still tag along on some missions with other Angel Flight pilots from time to time.

So Michael, from all of us here at Angel Flight we wish you all the best for your health and your retirement.
